Halloween

ok, so Burgundy was a leaf fairy, Finn was Thomas the tank engine, I was a witch, Rigby was a bee and Cody was, well Cody :)

We had a little bit of snow a week ago, but luckily Halloween was lovely weather for trick or treating!

And by the way, I love having long, thick, black hair. Need to do something about that. Have they started doing scalp transplants yet? I think they should get on that...

October

ok, well since all my photos posted in reverse order, we will work backwards! Above, you see our lovely jack-o-lantern. We may do another one, but this was the kids' first ever. Burgundy was very interested, Finn wanted nothing to do with the seeds and gook!

Here's Burgundy making fishy-faces at us through the door.
Once again, we made our annual trek to the Day Farms pumpkin patch. I love pumpkin patch pictures!

A few days earlier, we all went on Finn's preschool field-trip to the Black Island Farms pumpkin patch.

Earlier this month, my parents came in to visit. We took them out to MacCool's for their birthday dinner. My mom is turning 65 and my dad, 70. It was a really fun night, with great food, live Irish music, and two very well behaved children - happy birthday mom & dad! We love you!

fall happenings

well fall is apparently in full swing. Which we don't mind a bit. We finished up with soccer, and are settling into our school routine. We are also settling into our puppy routine! Rigby is doing well and adjusting nicely. Now if we can just get him to stop biting and nipping as well as he sits and comes! Finn & I are going to take him to puppy pre-school. 8 weeks of puppy boot camp. He better be able to pull people from burning buildings after that!
Also, my parents came to visit and were here for the past 2 weeks. Unfortunately, everyone was sick for the first week, but it's still always lovely and we are sad to see them leave. Hopefully we can get together again before next spring!
Not much else, Cody's season is winding down so he will be home a little more now! Which is great seeing as we hardly ever see him in the summer! So we especially love fall & winter for that reason! Anyway, there's my quick update, now enjoy some pictures:
