And they’re off…

After about a month of lounging around the house, we are back in full swing.  I left the house at 8 and didn’t really get home until 8.  Yep that’s how it goes around here.

Today was our first day back at school, I had 2 different doctor’s appointments, got my face lasered, and had our first night of ice skating lessons.  I think I drove around Ogden en total about 4 times today.

Tomorrow, I can’t wait to go to pilates and old folks’ yoga.  Feels like I haven’t been in a year.  Then Thursday we have a doctor’s appointment for Cody and Friday a needle aspiration biopsy of a nodule they found on my thyroid.  Good times I tell you!!

We gave back the preschool guinea pigs this morning.  It was fun to watch them over break, also fun to give them back!

Busy week.  Nothing like diving back in.  I miss my couch.  And my lazy Christmas vacation days.

Here are some pictures of lessons, I will bring the camera next week.  Burgundy is in the red helmet and Finn in the yellow & blue helmet.  Helmets were optional, the first time I ever ice skated I fell and literally cracked my head open.  So yeah, we opted for it. (Super-graceful over here, yep.)

Though there was a lot of falling down happening, they both did quite well.  Burgundy would get a little teary when she saw me through the glass, so I tried to remain hidden.  She loves dance classes, any other lessons are not really her favorite thing.  But hopefully she will give it another go next week.  Think we have her convinced, but she is not easily swayable once she has decided upon something.  Pretty much immovable, this kid.

Finn is excited to go back.  He could have been in a different (older) class, but since he’s never been on the ice before and since no way Indi would do it without him there, we put him in the same class as her.  I think it worked out well that way.
