what a day...

well today was a somewhat fussy day - for all of us. I think I am finally coming down with whatever both kids have had. Burgundy was fussy on and off all day - very unusual for her - but she is pretty stuffy and sick. And Finn was testing his limits all day - on top of being over tired from no nap and sick as well. Sounds like a fun day, doesn't it?

In happier news, we did get to go to the new Chuck E Cheese in Layton this past week. We went one day for lunch with Kelly & Spencer, and again on Thursday - this time Cody was able to come. He took off work that day so we could go to Discovery Gateway with Pablo, but with Finn being sick and Pablo getting called into work, it just didn't quite happen. But we were able to have a fun time anyway.

What else...? My friend & neighbor moved away which is sad. I will miss her. I brought some taffy apple tartlets to the new family living there. They seem very nice. Friday, I had a PC show at my friend Tiffiny's house which was a lot of fun.

And, we FINALLY got our tapestry hung! What a saga that has been. We got the tapestry last Christmas but nothing to hang it on, so we had to wait until we could afford a rod to put it on (which we still had to borrow the money from our "savings" account). And I wasn't sure it was the tapestry I wanted, so I tried to exchange it which turned into a mini-series all it's own. But it is finally up and it looks great. It really breaks up that huge white wall which is a very good thing. So here are some pictures of that...

Hey!

You have been busy – guess it runs in the family. Ha ha! :o) Glad the kids are feeling better but sorry you’re not! :o( Yuck. Also sorry your neighbor friend moved away, that sucks. The tapestry looks AWESOME! Very cozy. I know the dilemma you went through to get it so I’m happy for you that it’s finally up and that you like it. It’s very nice. P.S. I cannot believe just HOW MUCH Indi looks like her Mommy at that age. What a little Mini Missa. :-) And Finn looks like such a big boy now it’s crazy! I can see a lot more of Cody in his face now too (though I can still see the mischievous glint in his eye that was so yours at that age). ;o) Miss you and maybe we can catch up one of these days when our heads stop spinning. :o) Take care and Love you!
